Arab and international condemnations of Israel's bombing of the Iranian consulate in Damascus

Arab and foreign countries condemned the bombing by Israeli aircraft of the Iranian consulate in Damascus.The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed  in a statement yesterday, Monday, that "Israeli aggressive actions are unacceptable and must stop."She said: “We draw particular attention to the fact that the attack was carried out in a densely populated area, and was fraught with the risk of civilian casualties.”The Saudi Foreign Ministry expressed in a statement “the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of the targeting of the Iranian consulate building in the Syrian capital, Damascus,” expressing “the Kingdom’s categorical rejection of targeting diplomatic facilities for any justification, and under any pretext, which is a violation of international diplomatic laws and the rules of diplomatic immunity.”The UAE said in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that it "condemns the targeting of the Iranian diplomatic mission in the Syrian capital, Damascus."Qatar also condemned the attack and considered it "a blatant violation of international agreements and charters and diplomatic norms that criminalize attacks on the headquarters of diplomatic missions."The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs condemned the attack, with ministry spokesman Sufyan Al-Qudah saying that targeting the consulate “represents a serious violation of international law and an attack on the sanctity of diplomatic headquarters protected under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.”The Iraqi Foreign Ministry stated in its statement that it "expresses its condemnation of the targeting of the Iranian diplomatic mission in the Syrian capital, Damascus," adding that "this attack represents a clear and blatant violation of international law and Syrian sovereignty and warns of the danger of compromising the security of diplomatic missions that have diplomatic immunity under international laws."The Sultanate of Oman expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the bombing, considering it a violation of Syria's sovereignty and all international diplomatic laws and immunities calling for the protection and preservation of diplomatic and consular missions.For its part, Beijing condemned the attack that targeted the Iranian consulate in Damascus, and Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said: “The security of diplomatic institutions cannot be violated, and Syria’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity must be respected.”Pakistan also condemned the attack , and its foreign ministry statement said: “Pakistan strongly condemns the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, Syria. We express our sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the people and government of Iran. This attack is an unacceptable violation of Syrian sovereignty and undermines its stability and security.”Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla expressed that his country strongly condemns the Israeli attack, stressing that it blatantly violates Syrian sovereignty and international law.Yesterday, Monday,  Israeli aircraft targeted the Iranian consulate building in Damascus , resulting in major destruction there and in neighboring buildings, and killing everyone inside the building.The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced   the killing of two brigadier generals in its ranks (Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi and Brigadier General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi), and 5 officers accompanying them.Tehran stressed that the dimensions of the attack are being investigated,  warning that “responsibility for its results lies with the aggressor Zionist regime.”
