IPL 2024 [WATCH]: Rinku Singh overjoys after getting another bat from Virat Kohli

After the clash between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 10th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, a heartwarming exchange occurred between KKR’s emerging talent, Rinku Singh, and the seasoned Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli. Following the match at Chinnaswamy Stadium, players from both teams gathered in the dressing room for a jovial interaction. During this time, Kohli, the star player of RCB, generously gifted one of his cricket bats to Rinku.

However, when the teams met again for another IPL encounter, Rinku found himself in need of another bat. In a video shared by KKR, Rinku was seen politely requesting Kohli for a replacement bat, explaining that he had inadvertently broken the one gifted to him previously while facing spinners with too much power. Initially, Kohli seemed displeased by this revelation, hinting that Rinku might not receive another bat this time.
Despite the initial tension, Rinku’s luck turned around, as Kohli ultimately relented and provided him with a new bat. KKR later shared a video on social media in which Rinku revealed that his request had been fulfilled.

Rinku Singh finally gets a new bat from Virat Kohli

Ahead of KKR’s match against Punjab Kings (PBKS), a fan approached Rinku and inquired whether he had received the bat. With a smile, Rinku confirmed that he had indeed acquired what he required and proudly displayed the bat to the cheering fans. KKR expressed their gratitude towards Kohli for his generous act in the video they shared. Notably, in the video, Rinku was shown taking his mother’s oath to take good care of the bat and not break it this time.
