Shah Rukh Khan, the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), could land in hot water after being spotted smoking a cigarette in the stadium during the game between Kolkata and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Eden Gardens.
The Bollywood superstar is not new to landing in trouble due to his conduct in a stadium during an IPL match. In 2012, he was involved in a huge controversy due to a scuffle with the security staff and officials during a game between KKR and Mumbai Indians. Later, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) slapped a five-year ban on him. He was banned from entering MCA premises, including the Wankhede Stadium.
And Shah Rukh Khan could find himself in the headlines for all the wrong reasons once again. He was in attendance as KKR opened their campaign in IPL 2024 on Saturday (March 23). During KKR’s innings, the cameras caught him smoking a cigarette.
