Rohit Sharma reveals hilarious scenario of tailenders

During the show, there are many funny talks between host Kapil Sharma and Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. One such incident happened when the Indian skipper revealed the ordeal of tailenders. He revealed how players batting at No.10 and No.11 respond when they are asked to contribute runs to the scoreboard.

"When we see No.10-11 batting, we say, 'at least make 10 or 20 runs'. Sometimes they reply, 'If you couldn't score any, what do you expect from us? Why do you want us to make runs,", said Rohit Sharma. His comments made everyone burst into laughter.

Rohit Sharma opens up on ODI WC defeat

Rohit Sharma also opened up on the defeat to Australia in the ICC ODI World Cup last year. He said Team India was confident to win the match but they failed to put up a strong total in the match.

"It is difficult to say because before the finals we were in Ahmedabad and did our practice. There was a good momentum. The team was on autopilot. When the final match started we did well in the beginning. I think Shubman Gill was out quite fast. Then, we had a good partnership. So we thought we could put up a big total”, he said.

"However, when you play in the final matches, the opposition goes into pressure if you score a big total. Even if you score 100. Because they have to chase down those runs. And any team can slip under pressure. However, the Australian team played good cricket. They also made a big partnership", the former MI skipper further added.
