Iranian media showed pictures of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Advisor, Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, who was killed along with another brigadier general and two soldiers accompanying them, in the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.Tasnim Agency published a picture showing Mohammad Reza Zahedi alongside a number of the late leaders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and the Lebanese Hezbollah, accompanied by the party’s Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah and others.The picture showed:- The late commander of the Quds Force in the Revolutionary Guard, Qassem Soleimani: Assassinated An American air strike in Baghdad in 2020.- The late commander of the Revolutionary Guard, Major General Ahmed Kazemi: He was killed in a Dassault Falcon 20 plane crash that was carrying him near the city of Urmia.- The late leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Imad Mughniyeh: He was the leader of the military wing of Hezbollah, and according to foreign reports, he was assassinated by Israel in cooperation with US intelligence in Damascus in 2008.-Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah.On Monday,  Israeli aircraft targeted the Iranian consulate building in Damascus , resulting in major destruction to it and to its neighboring buildings.On the evening of the same day, Tehran stressed that the dimensions of the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus were being investigated,  warning that “responsibility for its results lies with the aggressor Zionist regime.”The Iranian Revolutionary Guard  later announced that  two brigadier generals in its ranks (Brigadier Mohammad Reza Zahedi and Brigadier General Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi), and 5 of their accompanying officers, were killed in the Israeli aggression against the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
